On May 19, the international conference of the IntiLED-2017 company partners was held at creative spot LOFT#1 in Moscow. This is the third event of this sort organized by IntiLED. The event was attended by representatives of 40 companies from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tyumen, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Tula, Penza, Tver, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Togliatti, Omsk, Makhachkala.
Traditionally, the event format comprises the educational business session, presentation of new equipment, and live informal meetings. This format makes it possible not only stay in touch with the latest news from the manufacturer but also be efficient with social networking.
This year, the business session was divided in 2 concurrent blocks: an information-intensive theoretical session for lighting engineers and a session providing application-related information to commercial specialists. Thus, each participant had a chance to embrace any area of interest.
IntiLED executives and managers told the participants about new areas of the company development, best projects implemented in 2016, presented new version of the dealer policy.
Special attention was paid to updating the IntiLED product range and new lightning equipment. One of them — the narrow beam (3x180 degrees) EDGE — was a hit among the event guests for its compact size and quality of light effect surpassing all the available competitors.
Also, our guests were presented the new IntiLINE-2 — an additional version of the classical IntiLINE which is smaller in dimensions and ensures higher luminous flux due to absence of a protective glass. Besides, guests were offered to consider a 3D model of a medium-power floodlight — the product of collaboration between IntiLED engineers and professional industry designers — and the IntiLINE version that can be fit into the ground.
As part of the new business line of InitLED, lamps of LEDA and JET series were presented. The LEDA series is designed for lighting production areas with extremely high ceilings. The JET series can be applied at premises with a variable ceiling height.
As usual, during the session for commercial specialists, an engaged professional, business coach Dmitry Rusakov presented his full-scale 3-hour hands-on training on project sales. The international status of the conference was supported by Roberto Corradini — the world famous lighting designer. During the conference, Roberto shared his author approach to designing the outdoor lighting of religious and historical buildings.
Our usual speaker Natalia Shalneva, a lighting designer, member of the Moscow Union of Artists, co-founder of the Svetovoy Tsentr light studio, delivered a speech about the history of architectural lighting, provided detailed and systematic considerations on the variety of lighting methods, as well as shared her professional techniques for application of optical illusion to ensure the required light effect and impressive result.
Everybody liked the extremely helpful workshop carried out by Natalia Markevich, a lighting designer and a curator of the Lighting Design course at the MARCH Architecture School. She shared with the audience her knowledge of the first and the most important stage of a lighting project — the conceptual design.
Sergey Sizy, a lighting designer, member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), presented a case study and told about lighting concept development based on emotional design principles. There was a lively discussion about approaches to resulting visualization design: either in the form of a sketch (European approach) or in the form of a photorealistic image.
The event was closed by a boat trip on Moscow river onboard the Palma De Sochi yacht restaurant. There was a gala dinner during which unofficial results of the year were summarized.
