November saw the closing of Interlight Moscow powered by Light + Building, the 23rd international trade fair for decorative and technical lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation.
Interlight is an international project, uniting in 2017 40,000 professionals in lighting and electrical engineering from the CIS countries, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
On November 7, the award ceremony for the winners of the "Russian Light Design" contest was held, the contest being an integral part of the trade fair. This year, the projects implemented using the IntiLED equipment were awarded three prizes.
The first prize in the category "Best Outdoor Lighting Project" was awarded to
the Horosho mall.
MDM-Light undertook the full scope of works on engineering, installation and commissioning.

In the category "Best Interior Lighting Project",
the Kaslinsky cast-iron pavilion was awarded the third prize. The light design, design works, delivery of equipment was performed by

The Interlight Moscow trade fair comprised a rich business and educational programs. As part of the trade fair, a single conference platform titled Interlight Design Academy was arranged to ensure that every visitor can receive useful knowledge, add to their professional experience and learn about the latest trends in global lighting design.
Ulyana Vinogradova, the head of IntiLED design, told the audience about the changes taking place in the light urban environment. Media facades, 3d mapping have become ingrained in our everyday lives and are little wonder. The light environment has already become interactive, the next step is augmented reality. The person will choose what to see, based on his or her own preferences and mood.
The issue of future architectural lighting in Russia and in the world was also the subject of discussion at the round table, within the framework of LED Forum, the 11th International B2B Forum on LED technologies and lighting solutions.
Experts differed in the forecasts, putting forward three points of view:
- Lighting follows architecture and moves to the minimalism, the form of the lighting equipment will change and it will be integrated and imperceptible as much as possible;
- Future belongs to emotional design in lighting, the content lighting will prevail;
- Preservation of darkness is necessary.
Time will show, which way the architectural lighting in Russia will choose.
Also, the participants of the round table exchanged views on the trends in the development of the LED lighting market, which continues to grow steadily along with the advancement of energy-efficient technologies and the import substitution strategy. Sergey Khritankov, IntiLED leading business development manager, told the participants about modern requirements for architectural lighting using the example of the company's projects.
