In late October, in St. Petersburg, as part of the International Design and Lighting Festival, IntiLED presented the main line of equipment for architectural, artistic and industrial-warehouse lighting. At the company's stand, solutions for creating a variety of classical lighting effects, media facades, as well as functional lighting and lighting of extremely high spaces were demonstrated.
Within the framework of the festival, a congress was held with the participation of representatives of the administration of St. Petersburg and leading lighting companies of the city. On October 19, Sergei Khritankov, the leading development manager of IntiLED, made a speech at a round table devoted to the art, park and street lighting.
Considering the basic requirements for architectural illumination of modern megacities, he singled out such parameters as the quality and quantity of light, the possibility of lighting control, as well as the functionality of a modern lamp.
He also touched upon the important question for manufacturers: for the transition to a qualitatively new level of lighting in the city, the efforts of individual manufacturers are insufficient, it is necessary to introduce requirements for mandatory unified certification of lighting equipment.
The Festival of Design and Lighting Technology annually gathers Russian and foreign light business professionals to get acquainted with the world trends and prospects of the industry development, business communication and launching new projects. The main themes of the festival are: festive and light decoration of the city, video-mapping, light projection and light advertising.
