INTILED for the Moskomarkhitektura stand at the Zodchestvo festival

Undoubtedly, contemporary architectural lighting significantly contributes to the transformation of urban spaces. The interactive installation, Architecture of Light, showcased at the Moskomarkhitektura stand during the international festival Zodchestvo, invites visitors to delve into this impact and experience firsthand how light enhances the urban environment and alters the city's appearance at night.
This exhibition project highlights the evolving function of artificial lighting in cities since 2012, which has now expanded beyond mere functionality. Today, lighting scenarios for each building or public space are developed with careful consideration of the surrounding context and environment.
Sergey Kuznetsov, the Chief Architect of Moscow, emphasizes that light serves as a vital link between the city and its inhabitants after dark. This is particularly crucial in areas with long winters and vibrant evening activities, where lighting shapes the city's aesthetics and influences residents' perception of their surroundings. Light plays an essential role in territory programming, navigation, and attracting both people and businesses, making it imperative to consider lighting design right from the planning stage.
The Moskomarkhitektura stand was designed by architects from the Syntaxis bureau, reflecting the idea of light as a complex communication tool connecting the city and its residents. This concept was developed by the Culture of Light and brought to life using LINE fullcolor equipment from INTILED.
The Zodchestvo festival is taking place at Gostiny Dvor until November 14, with free admission available upon prior registration.
