The Lightcode Festival returned for another edition from September 26th to 28th. This year, the ancient streets of Torzhok were brought to life with light installations that illuminated threads of the past, while the Znamenskoye-Rayok Estate revealed forgotten legends through a synthesis of light, architecture, and music. In previous years, the festival had illuminated the cities of Petrozavodsk and Saratov.
The festival was structured around a curated light route, featuring installations that highlighted the region's cultural, geographical, and historical identity. The professional program included lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and TEDx talks with experts in urban design, architecture, and lighting art from across the country.
The event's commissioning partner was the All-Russian Historical and Ethnographic Museum (VIEM). INTILED served as the festival's permanent sponsor, providing equipment for key installations such as "New Reflection," "Pearls," "Balcony of the Pozharsky Hotel," "Line of History," "Solar Path," "Island with a Pine," "Helmet-shaped Well," and "Portal."
INTILED's Business Development Manager, Evgeny Filipenko, participated in a panel discussion as part of the professional program. He presented on the company's work with cultural heritage sites, using the Museum Quarter in Pskov and Itchan Kala as key case studies.
