Over its almost century-old history, the Majit Gafuri Bashkir State Academic Drama Theater rightly came to be regarded the Republic's number one theater and a preserver of and successor to Bashkir national art. Its has hosted over 600 performances of Bashkir, Russian and world drama. The theater's high status is emphasized by the advanced LED lighting system by IntiLED.
The lighting concept combines both classic and dynamic techniques. Neutral white light accentuates rectangular semi-columns and the stucco molding centerpiece. IntiLINE linear luminaires were selected for the job.
The concave columns are marked by IntiRAY spotlights with wide and narrow light beams.
Although the foreground of the theater's facade is static, the interior space beyond the concaves produces a dynamic background. It was made possible thanks to the use of 10 powerful IntiSTARK RGB spotlights with oval 10x50° optics. Controllable via the DMX-512 protocol, they are capable of both operating in automatic iridescence mode and working with any fixed color. All the equipment mounted on the facade is painted to the color 1015 according to the PAL palette.
