In the spotlight: Bashkortostan State Concert Hall

Date: September 2014

The State Concert Hall Bashkortostan is one of Ufa's the most beautiful and modern buildings, located in the city's historic center. The concert hall, previously named the Oiler Culture Palace, was erected in honor of oil extraction workers in 1981 based on the architect M. P. Mazin's project. For over thirty years of its history it hosted multiple millions of audience members and brought up dozens of creative collectives, having become an important cultural and aesthetic center of Bashkortostan.
In late 2014 the building's overhaul was completed, with architectural and art lighting systems installed that would emphasize the institution's high status. 149 and 157 W cold white light IntiSTARK spotlights mounted on stands around the building's perimeter were used to light up the facade and the decorative "crown" of the architectural ensemble.
The project was implemented in September of 2014 by the lighting design company MT Electro, Ufa. The company carried out the planning, supplying and installation of the equipment.
