Today, the 8th innovative salon of lighting engineering solutions for industry, business, and urban infrastructure, "Industrial Lighting – St. Petersburg", opened its doors. Leading domestic suppliers of lighting equipment and components will take part in the exposition and business program. Therefore we are proud to announce, that IntiLED decided to support this event, highly important for St. Petersburg, where experts will discuss issues such as modernizing city lighting, the possibility of energy service contracts and the prospects for introducing digital lighting control technologies.

The four-day business program of the salon will start with the scientific and practical conference “Attractive city: in the LIGHT of a comfortable urban environment”. Professionals from different fields will share their experience, get with advanced technologies for organizing street lighting, architectural and historical sights, elements of transport infrastructure and other objects of the urban environment, as well as explore the common practices and possibilities of introducing smart city technology elements and intelligent lighting control.

Traditionally, a round table and seminars for chief engineers and specialists of power supply services of industrial enterprises, gas industry enterprises and oil refineries will be organized at the exhibition. During the round table, RU-LED Association experts will share the criteria for choosing a reliable supplier of high-quality lighting equipment, discuss certification and testing issues, and talk about the possibilities of intelligent lighting control in order to reduce electricity costs, improve conditions and increase productivity.

The participants of the business program will be able to consolidate their knowledge and see the modern production complex by visiting the IntiLED’s factory. The company's specialists will conduct a tour, explaining in details how the company managed to successfully organize a full cycle production and introduce company’s implemented quality control systems.

The program will end with an evening tour “Architectural Lighting of the Northern Capital”, during which Ulyana Vinogradova, head of the IntiLED lighting design department and a specialist in the LiDS lighting design school, will talk about the lighting features of public spaces. Participants will learn how to enhance the visual effect of the perception of buildings and public spaces, how a properly selected lighting environment increases the attractiveness of an object, and how to create a comfortable environment in places of constant crowding of residents and tourists.

Salon "Industrial Lighting" is held in St. Petersburg once every two years. This is a Russian event, in the exposition and business program of which leading domestic suppliers of lighting equipment and components take part. The event is being prepared with the support of the association of manufacturers of LEDs and systems based on them RU-LED Association, will be held in the Expoforum Exhibition Center as part of the exhibition "Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Innovative technologies and equipment ”(annual number of visitors - more than 9000), simultaneously with the exhibition“ Ros-Gas-Expo.
