About the project
The unusual cultural and entertainment center CAPRICE LAND was built in Kurgan - the building looks like a castle from a fairy tale. The territory of the center is decorated with fountains and sculptures. CAPRICE LAND houses a confectionery factory, a theater, a vocal and art studio, as well as a restaurant and a family club.
Residents of the city already gave a catchy nickname to the center - they call it Hogwarts and it has become a center of attraction for citizens of Kurgan.
Ideas and tasks
The fabulous architecture of the building inspired designers for the lighting concept. They created 11 dynamic and colorful lighting scenarios to “animate” the castle. Light and color emphasize sculptures that create a magical atmosphere - a dragon, fish and frogs in the fountains of the surrounding area.
Thanks to architectural and artistic lighting, the castle acquired a bright appearance, noticeable from almost anywhere in the city. CAPRICE LAND has become the new light dominant of Kurgan.
Project implementation
Facades and towers with central lighting by narrow-beam RGB-luminaires of the IntiTOP series. 51 IntiTOP luminaires with an angle of illumination of 40x20 ° emphasize the base of the towers and figures in the fountains. The main figure - the dragon - is illuminated by three IntiGROUND series ground luminaries.
The massive backyard tower is highlighted with four IntiLINE linear floodlights.
Lighting designers created 11 lighting scenarios. For the holidays, a script that uses wide range colors and equipment capabilities has been written, "Tricolor" script for traditional holidays and the script depicting a drop falling from the roof - to open ceremonial events.
Basic scenarios for every day were also written, for example, “White Mode 1” - a smooth overflow of white light and “White Mode 2” with a mini light show is used to attract guests. In total, four daily routines are written.
