INTILED at [d]arc sessions Asia 2026

From 22 to 25 September, INTILED took part in [d]arc sessions Asia 2026 on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. The company was represented by Elena Belova, Business Development Director, and Dmitry Nalivayko, Lead Project Manager of the International Business Department.
[d]arc sessions brings together lighting designers, architects, interior designers and lighting manufacturers working on international projects. The programme is built around individual meetings, where the compact format makes it possible to discuss ongoing projects, new solutions, equipment and the practical challenges professionals face in their work.
Asia has become one of the key regions for INTILED’s international business. The company has already completed a number of projects there, including the architectural lighting of the Ben Rung Bridge in Vietnam, which is approximately 1.8 kilometres long. Meetings like these provide an opportunity to discuss new developments with professionals who have a strong understanding of the specific requirements of projects across the Asian market.
This year, INTILED’s schedule extended well beyond the official programme. A number of additional meetings and discussions were arranged outside the pre-scheduled sessions.
At [d]arc sessions, our team presented developments at different stages of refinement. For INTILED, meetings of this kind are an important way to test technical and visual ideas before they are finalised. Feedback from lighting designers is taken into account as the product range continues to evolve.
One of the developments presented was a range of light-diffusing lenses designed to create different decorative effects. Several versions were shown to participants, followed by discussions of possible applications. INTILED also presented new versions of LACE flexible light lines, including in-ground options, double-sided models and solutions with coloured housings and diffusors.
The coloured versions attracted particular interest. Pigments can be added to both the housing and the diffusor to match the colour of the facade, for example brick, black or different shades of grey. During the day, the light line becomes less visible on the building surface while still providing the required lighting effect when switched on.
Working with coloured diffusors requires careful material selection, as the colour affects both the spectrum and the intensity of the transmitted light. INTILED continues to study these relationships and develop solutions for different facade colours and lighting effects.
The most playful part of the meetings was a quiz for lighting designers, prepared by our team especially for the event. At the end of each conversation, participants were invited to answer a few questions about lighting technology and equipment. Everyone did very well and, hopefully, picked up something new along the way.
For INTILED, meetings like these have a cumulative effect. Many professional contacts in Asia have been maintained for several years, and regular communication gradually develops into more detailed discussions of projects, solutions and possible areas of cooperation.
[d]arc sessions Asia 2026 provided another opportunity to continue this dialogue, present recent developments and receive direct feedback from professionals in the region. With some of the participants, the next meeting may well take place in Russia — and we look forward to welcoming them here.
