Lighting Concept: The façade lighting concept was developed based on detailed pre-project analysis, taking into account key viewing angles, the architectural vision, and finishing materials. The central inspiration was a flagship ship cutting through waves at sunset.
Panoramic Perception: Special attention was given to illuminating the façades facing the Moskva River. Grazing light emphasizes the horizontal lines of the balconies, evoking the image of waves and water shimmering in the sunset glow. To prevent glare in residential windows, fixtures with narrow optics (10°) were used. The vertical arrangement of fixtures (one per floor) simplified installation and optimized mounting points.
Intimate Perception: To avoid visual clutter and create a cohesive composition, the stylobate was treated with a unified lighting solution: warm amber grazing wash lighting along the louvered cornice. This lighting also serves a practical purpose, illuminating the promenade around the residential complex.
Equipment Used: LINE luminaires on balconies and EDGE luminaires on undersides
