The role of shopping centers has already exceeded the scope of simple consuming for the inhabitants of the modern megalopolises. Nowadays they are one of the most popular places of pastime. The illumination does not have the least importance in the formation of shopping centers visitors loyalty. At that, not only internal, but also external lighting of facades and adjoining territory is important. In this case the architectural lighting decor performs two functions: utilitarian and decorative. On one hand, it is necessary to provide visitors' comfort and safety, as well as to minimize the costs for the lighting itself, on the other hand - to form a memorable building outlook in the evening and at night-time.

Taking into account all the peculiarities of shopping centers lighting, the architectural lighting project for the Aquarel Mall was implemented in April 2017. The Aquarel Mall modern architectural solutions were completed by the lighting system, performed by IntiLED company, having also transformed the shopping center beyond recognition in the night-time.

115 monochrome floodlights of the IntiSTARK series of a neutral white color, installed along the perimeter of the shopping mall, were used for the facade lighting. Due to their positioning at the different height marks and in addition to the floodlight illumination, it became possible to achieve an interesting light pattern, focusing visitors' attention on the facade finishing - colored composite panels.

The Aquarel Mall architectural dominant is two main entrances, which foundations are stylized as trees. The decorative trees trunks are illuminated by the IntiGROUND ground 60° floodlights, the branches are accentuated by the compact dimmable luminaires of IntiTOP series with 16° optics. The small entrance group are illuminated by the dimmable luminaires of a neutral white light of IntiSPOT series, which are built into the canopy.
