The architectural lighting scheme highlights the Wooden Bridge, one of Kaliningrad’s historic bridges, originally built in 1404 and reconstructed in 1904. The project was implemented as part of a federal bridge renovation program and forms part of a unified architectural lighting concept for the bridges spanning the Pregolya River. While contributing to a cohesive nighttime identity, each bridge retains its own architectural character. Particular attention was given to the seamless integration of the lighting equipment into the bridge structure, minimizing glare, and creating dynamic lighting scenarios that enhance the bridge’s architectural features throughout the year. The project features INTILED luminaires from the LINE, KUB, SPOT, IntiSPOT, and LACE series.
